Compact Advice for Founders

My goal is to share a few ideas and some valuable knowledge without wasting anyones time. I respect that time is a finite resource and if I ever believed an “article” that I have in draft would be wasting just a single minute of a founders time, then it will not be published.

So my “articles” will be compact and focus on high quality snippets of information. They will sit somewhere on the spectrum between a Tweet and a 2 minute read. They should be slightly more than than a thought, but a great motivation to explore the concept further. If (vetted) information exists elsewhere, I will provide links to supplemental articles should the topic peak your interest.

I do believe in the scientific method, and a little struggle here and there as a right of passage — but having been on almost all sides of the table including the role of the investor, the banker, a startups first-finance & strategy hire, and the blue-chip operator, I’ve seen enough to believe I can help smooth out your journey.

My goal is to help you (the founder) think intrinsically and externally about the challenges and opportunties in front of you. Help you to optimizie your strategy, positioning yourself to leap frog challenges, and avoid those first-time mistakes (that will be so obvious in hindsight). Or if nothing else, just give you a new perspective, some additional motivation, or just spark some creativity.

Stay tuned…
